(AP) — A consistent downpour fell in the Tampa Straight region Wednesday morning as a powerful Hurricane Milton stirred toward a possibly devastating crash with the west shoreline of Florida, where a few occupants demanded they would remain even after millions were requested to clear. Strays face terrible chances of making due, authorities said.
